The Winning Voice is led by a highly specialized and diverse team, dedicated to contributing and promoting a better and more harmonious society.
Founder/Chair
Monica is passionate about community and positive change. She believes in the power of learning and is always striving to acquire new skills. Monica immigrated to Canada in 1980 and has always been an active member of the community raising awareness and assisting Canadian youth and local hospitals. In the past, she has worked with children teaching devotional songs as a way to connect with their cultural heritage. She continues to learn and promote a range of South Asian traditions as a student of music. She is excited to support the next generation of artists.
Co-Chair
Music has been part of Mala s life since she was a young girl. She has both appreciated and studied Eastern and Western disciplines of vocal and instrumental music. Born and raised in the United Staes, Mala made Canada her home in 2001. She now works as a medical cancer specialist. She is a mother of three young children and participates in many community organizations and activities. She approaches life with compassion towards her patients as well as her community.
Project Manager
David is our Project manager and has over 26 years of experience in the business of Healthcare Administration and Project Management. His first love and path of study however was in the Humanities and the Arts. Possessing a background in both Business and Law, his past work with charities and his willingness to assist the youth makes him a more than welcome addition to our team.
Producer
Adrian is a versatile singer, he sings anything ranging from classical to Broadway, and jazz, to pop and rock, although his focus and strength lies in jazz, and singing love ballads. He is also an Executive Voice coach with Vocal Impression and Forrest and Company, instructing executives and professionals on how to enhance their overall image through their voice. Along with his business partner Patti Jannetta, they own Music Makes Miracles, an event production company specializing in concerts that support the not for profit sector.
Producer
Patti is a very storied performer of international acclaim who has performed with such names as Michael Buble, Jerry Lee Lewis and Michael Burgess. She is also an avid Supporter of the Arts and founding director of SING. Patti’s awards include Sopot Poland International Music Festival Musician’s Favorite Award, City of Toronto Award of Merit, Laurie Pallet Patron of the Arts Award and Canada’s Recording Legacy Award.
